BOVSL sponsors Association of Students of Commercial Studies
BOV Stockbrokers Ltd has renewed the sponsorship agreement with the Association of Students of Commercial Studies (ASCS), for the second consecutive term. The new agreement signed by Mr Alex Azzopardi, Chairman of ASCS and Mr Franco Xuereb, General Manager of BOV Stockbrokers Ltd, opens up a new two-year period of collaboration between the two sides.
The Association of Students of Commercial Studies is the largest faculty-based association on campus and continuously organises a number of activities both in the social and academic fields. ASCS is an active and dynamic organisation, which works to improve the students’ life on Campus.
Mr Alex Azzopardi stated that ASCS aims to increase both the bond between its members and their active participation during the years spent on campus. In fact, ASCS initiatives held recently on campus during the Freshers’ Week at the University of Malta, brought outstanding response from the students.
Mr Xuereb said that BOVSL is committed to educate, collaborate with, and help the upcoming students whose studies are related to the financial services sector, or who might pursue a job in the sector. BOVSL has thus chosen to sponsor the Association of Students of Commercial Studies (ASCS), which is the most prominent association of its kind. He also said that BOVSL was pleased to be associated with the ASCS and looked forward to further co-operation with the association.
BOVSL is a member of the Malta Stock Exchange and is licensed to conduct investment services business by the Malta Financial Services Authority.
